They combine a complete grocery supermarket with a drugstore, clothing store, shoe store, fine jewelers, home decor store, home improvement center, garden center, electronics store, toy store, sporting goods store, and more under one roof.

A PUD crew works on Casino road next to Fred Meyer.

That heavy rain storm this morning was apparently too much for parts of the roof of the Fred Meyer Store on Evergreen Way.

The store had to be closed late this morning after rain leaked through the roof and onto power panels. Crews moved items from the coolers into refrigerated trailers behind the store as mechanical and electrical contractors worked to solve the power problem.

Snohomish PUD crews were also working on the power vault on Casino Road. No word when the store will reopen.
