View all Tips (32). About 30 minutes away, Mark Twain Historic Site, within Mark Twain State Park, which has some great exhibits and his birth cabin, is well worth a visit. In June 2016, we stayed in our Motorhome at Indian Creek in Monroe City, MO.

Twain Store & RV Park has been a staple in The Feather River Canyon since 1961. Recently purchased by Joyce and Hardy Lindahl. We have many plans to restore it to its former glory. The Store has new and exciting products, the RV park and picnic area as well as the laundry facilities, bathrooms and Old West Town front are all receiving a facelift and we will be hosting many fun and exciting activities come spring and summer. Our plans include Saturday night BBQ's, Rib and Chili Cookoffs, Artisan Fairs and family events. Twain Store and RV park is a family oriented resort. Bring the kids and grandkids for a special vacation on the Feather River and take home beautiful memories.
