DESCRIPTION
The LSDF linear slot diffuser flangeless is designed for installation in the ceiling or side wall and is suited for the supply of cooled or heated air with large temperature differential in relation to room temperature.
The diffuser incorporates a discreet directional control vane in each slot to direct the airflow across the ceiling, left or right, or discharge vertically downwards. Arranged in standard 2000mm lengths, the blade offers a clean unbroken appearance and is easily clipped and unclipped from the diffuser to allow for fixing. Frame border style K - the slot is the only visible part of the diffuser in hard ceiling application and drywall is cut at 45 degree angle to be flush with frame. Type KK Concealed Angular Frame. The LSDF can be installed in individual lengths or in multiple sections to form a continuous length.
Modules are available in a number of slots ranging from 1 to 8.
The uniquely designed pattern deflector is adjustable from the face and enables adjustment of the discharge air stream in various horizontal and vertical configurations.
To simplify installation the centre T-Bars are removed allowing easy access for various fixing methods.
The clean architectural look makes the LSDF a very versatile product that blends in many environments.

Extruded aluminium construction.
Maximum single length 3m.
Finished in standard white satin (other finishes available upon request).
ACCESSORIES
Insulated or uninsulated plenum box complete with inlet spigot and damper with balancing strings.
Fields of application
The SCHAKO ceiling slot diffuser type DSCXL ist suitable for room heights from 2.6 m to 4 m for direct installation in plasterboard ceilings or suspended ceilings (pressure ceilings). The ceiling slot diffuser is supplied with 1 slot and is available as single diffuser or in band design.
Linear Slot Diffuser Installation Details
Function
The large cross section in the SCHAKO DSCXL diffuser allows a high air volume compared to other slot diffusers. Thanks to the stable air jet and high induction, it can be used with temperature differences up to 12K in cooling mode. The pre-pressure generated by the blades ensures that the supply air is distributed equally across the whole length of the diffuser, whether as single diffuser or in band design.
A subsequent change of the air jet outflow direction on site is always possible, since the air deflection blades can be easily adjusted from outside, as usual at SCHAKO.
If an air throw pattern is specified when ordering, it will be preset in factory. The diffuser can be used for supply and return air.
